The sound is very good for the size and price. The battery lasts every bit of the 12 hours as advertised on the box. I also have a Big Blue Party speaker by Brookstone. The Big Blue Party is louder and provides excellent bass, but it is very heavy. The Sony speaker isn't as loud, but it is great to take anywhere.

This speaker is excellent for great sound, deep base, easy charging, size, carry around to place outside, in my golf cart, have in office , beach, outside home, in my bedroom , out by hot tub, & all around sound. i would recommend this Sony speaker to all, who want an excellent sound, compatible with phone , computer & other devices that have bluetooth. I give this a 10 plus for a rating .

Great speaker for my small classroom! I can feel the bass effect, but not too much. For me is enough because I don't usually play the strong bass music.

Purchased in comparison with other expensive brands and in my personal opinion the Sony sounded close if not better!! Save your money and get them!

Great product! Water resistantance makes it ideal for using in the bathroom. Bluetooth connection range is also a plus coupled with excellent sound.

I later bought a generic hard case I saw online for it and this little speaker has travelled to many places with me. The sound is amazing and sounds great in the many hotel rooms I've stayed on business travel. Compares to the sound quality of Bose, with Bose having maybe slighter better sound imaging. But for what I paid, I am extremely happy with the Sony.

I bought this speaker as a gift. I bought this one after listening to all the different speakers on the demonstration rack. To me this speaker had the best sound and the best bass, and the price was right there in my price range. If I was buying another speaker for myself this would be the one. The person for whom I bought the speaker has been very happy with her gift.

Great little speaker that delivers loud and full sound. I've had no problems establishing or maintaining Bluetooth connection using my iPhone 6s. With the speaker set to mid volume, the sound easily filled a large room and entertained a group of 25 people. It DOES connect and play while it charges. Worth the money and price value, especially since I bought it for $70 on sale.

I only bought this because it was on sale, decided to go ahead and give it a try, it surpassed my expectations, it is loud enough and looks great.

I honestly bought it for use when ever I shower. But I started using it in the living room and it sounds equal or better than in the smaller room.
