The Sony speaker is loud, small enough to carry around, and has great sound. I am pleasantly surprised at how loud it gets. I ended up Buying one for a family member who also loves it.

This has good power and good sounds. Bluetooth sync is easy and I bought two and the left and right balance works well. It has good range better than what I expected. I do think I would like the XB30 better but the price was very fair for the XB20 , $49 on sale. You always want more power but I like it a lot.

Purchased this item after hearing it in the store. Extra base boost gives speaker a very full sound. Easy to setup and looks cool with light that pulses to the sound. So far very happy with purchase.

The Bluetooth is very clear and nice and Loud. My daughter loves it. It lights up the Room.

It has nice bass and easy to connect to my iPad. I would recommend this speaker to anyone.

i love this speaker, i wish it came with a carrying case. great sound quality , blue tooth . i sit on my patio and chill with music that is not too loud just right for people in the area of the speaker and its portable!! it helps that it was on sale when i went into the store!

I purchased these smaller speakers along with the larger ones. Both models were a great choice. This smaller ones are crisp sounding very nice while they also have excellent base for this size speaker! Love that you can chain these together, but soon discovered that they won't chain to the larger model. They only chain to the same model. Love the sound when their chained in stereo mode. Don't love that sometimes they wont connect in to chained stereo mode and I have to waste up to 15 minutes screwing around trying to get them synced and chained together. I still love these speakers and I'm sure any brand would probably also have connection issues since Bluetooth is always a hit at miss especially trying to get a stereo or chained connection.

This speaker is great indoor and outdoors. Great sound and bass!! Perfect for gatherings and easy to pair to any bluetooth device. Now I can play my playlists from any of my apps!

Received delivery fast and the set up was quick and super easy. Literally just a few clicks to turn on & pair with my phone then it was ready to go. The sound is incredible & I love the light because it pulses with the music. Even better that I got it half price, but it's worth the full price.

Grabbed this on sale 20$ off MSRP. Needed some new speakers for a new pc build and wanted to avoid cable clutter. Clean sounds good highs and mids, bass is alright placing the speakers with something behind them like a wall or an object of some sort will help with the lows. But if your looking for better bass I would suggest the big brother to these. Over all very good quality sound and construction.

I'm really happy with this speaker. It has good sound and it gets really loud. The extra stuff like the lights and multi-speaker pairing I could do without, but they don't take anything away from the fact that this is a really nice sounding speaker. The speaker itself is pretty compact and it has a good heft to it. It feels like it's built well. It comes with a Micro USB cable for charging, but no power adapter; not a problem for me, but something to note. There's a line of buttons across the top for various functions and they all are big and easy to press. The front of it also has an LED light that will illuminate in different patterns depending on what is playing. It's water resistant as well, which is definitely a big plus for taking it camping or boating. I like the sound of this speaker for how small it is. It plays all my music clearly and it gets really loud despite how small it is. I think the XB in the model name is supposed to stand for Extra Bass and there's a dedicated button on the speaker for turning it off and on. Most things I've listened to in the past with an 'extra bass' option only muddied the rest of the sound - I'm happy to say that was not the case here. Thinking my default would be to leave this off I actually prefer to have it on and the Extra Bass setting does a really good job of adding that low end depth without making the rest of the music less clear. Sony has an app for the speaker called SongPal that lets you manage some additional settings. The SongPal app lets you change the way the LED lights on the front behave and also allows you to take multiple speakers and put them all in a single 'group' - basically you could get 2 of these (or an XB30 or XB40) and use one as a right channel and one as a left. It's a nice touch, but I don't see myself ever using it. Unless you want to fiddle with the LEDs I'd say you don't need it. Speaking of the LEDs, I'm not a fan. I wish there was more control over the lighting. The app lets you set the lights to Rave, Chill, Strobe, or Off. They all seem to be repeating the same pattern as far as I can tell. Rave has the lights changing fast, while Chill is 10x slower. Strobe seems like it's as fast as Rave, but the lights don't stay on as long between changes. I ended up leaving it set to off. Some people might like it, but not me and that's okay. Having them there at all is a neutral point for me. Some other items that may be of interest: - It has NFC built-in, so if you've got an Android phone you can use that to pair up with it. - It also uses a new Bluetooth audio codec called LDAC, which is supposed to allow for higher bit rate audio over Bluetooth. I think some Sony phones have this, but for right now it's probably not something that matters to most people (though Android O will support the codec natively). Overall I really like this speaker and it definitely lives up to its $100 price. I think there are probably better speakers, but I also think you'd probably end up paying $50-$100 more for them.

The speaker really has great sound and feels very sturdy. It's also easy to set up.

Device connects quickly to my devices and the volume is loud for the size and price

I got this for a friend of mine for her boyfriend and he loves it. It sounds good, likes the fact he can use it to talk on his phone and not that big. I listen to it in the store and I thought it sounded good. That is why I told her that this was a nice blue tooth speaker to get for him.

Easy set up, the boosted base adds another level of sound that is very pleasing.

This speaker has clarity however battery life is not long. I like the bass sound
