Really like the sound of this little powerhouse bluetooth speaker. The review on Wirecutter.com helped me to decide on it. Great battery life. Been considering some of the Bose options for a while, finally decided on this one and am very happy with it. The Sony companion app (not necessary for the speaker functioning with iOS but useful) is decent, though not as slick or useful as it could be. The speaker has an option to light up and change colors, though I keep that function turned off.

Super easy to link with Bluetooth. Sounds great and it can get loud! Love how portable it is. Move from one room to the next.

This is an excellent bluetooth speaker. Sound is clear and crisp, base is very present and battery lasts as advertised.

Lots of bass, as advertised, and the light movement to the beat is an added plus. Would recommend this for sure, and Best Buy price very competitive. Love it!

At this point in time, this Bluetooth speaker has a newer version but I would totally take advantage of the clearance pricing on this model. I have 2 of these. They are able to be used together in a daisy chain or as a left and right speaker. They also have built in lights for those who party and each will also charge a USB item. The battery lasts up to 24 of constant use and the sound is actually really good. Originally these were $150. Now they are priced to sell!

Great speaker with plenty of volume and the extra bass function really improves the sound quality. My kids love the color changing LEDs and the strobe lights. They call it the party speaker!

Deep bass, connects really easily to bluetooth, and the lights add a cool feature that is great when people are over!

I gave this to my brother for Christmas, so I only got to listen to it for a few minutes. I enjoyed the lights around the outside of the speaker and the appearance in general. The sound was crisp.

Needed a better speaker than the iPhone has—what a difference! I have a nice stereo and use it for great sound—if you all don’t have one spend the money and realize what your parents had 10-15 years ago! Ahem, for a small portable speaker this is really good great battery life for me, colors are fun, and.....it’s a SONY so build quality is excellent! Now...go buy that $1000 stereo and enjoy!

This was the middle of the three Sony portable bluetooth speakers I was evaluating for a gift purchase, and for the sound you get it hit that sweet spot between price and results. It has more bass than the cheaper model version, but is significantly cheap enough compared to its pricier sibling that the price/sound value was higher with this model. Don't go in expecting that you're going to get a nice monitor speaker sound out of this device, as that's not what it's meant for. This portable speaker is designed to be portable, water resistant, and yet not so large that it becomes an issue lugging it around. If portability and sound are important to you, consider this model or the one a bit larger. Avoid the smaller model because you lose too much bass.

This was purchased as a gift for my wife over the holidays. While comparing it to different brands, one of the sales representatives gave me a chance to experiment with different models but came across this one which was on sale. I was surprised at the sound quality and features. After the purchase and the holidays, my wife has been using it on a daily basis. The features -- including the advertised battery life before charging -- have been spot on.

portable, and has great bass, the only problem i have had is the volume goes down when it reaches 20 percent of its battery life.

This little speaker packs tons of bang for the buck. Great clear sound, nice bass, and phenomenal battery life.

Loud and holds charge, lights are awesome in the dark. Stays in the same spot even with the extra bass on.

Commenting on this great sounding Bluetooth speaker. Got this to use outside, and does a great job. Connects to my iPhone easily and plays flawlessly for a long time. I can go several days of using off and on without recharging. On a separate note, the app for the phone is not the greatest. Have to dig several layers to try and find a battery level, and even then its not super precise. But since I don't go into the app very often, it isn't a big deal to me.

speaker sounds great and looks great. very portable for any situation. the color changing is an added bonus.
