I love this thing so loud but has a clean sound super compact

This is a great speaker for any activity or indoor/outdoor use. It's loud, has great bass and it the light feature turns on/off.

Clean and crisp sound, decent bass and perfect size for travel, double as a cell charger

It's been a great addition to the home. We're still learning all the ways we can use it.

my first impression of the new sony lineup was good but lets face it theyre all over priced. without diving into too much detail this model replaces the xb3. and its priced at 150 retail. I paid 99 and to be honest its not even worth 80 so do yourself a favor and get the non name brand if all you want is a speaker. but if moneys not an issue then sonys got the quality to back up the name. the sound is average for the price of 99. mediocre at 150. the xb40 is a better deal with better sound. the xb20 and 10 are portable so those don't count. but this thing is just in the middle for no reason. maybe as a distraction. but ill be returning this and getting the 40 while you think about it.

I literally tried every portable speaker in the store. Originally I wanted to spend less than 75 dollars but after hearing all of them I knew I wouldn't be happy. This speaker was the best value for the money. Of course there were better sounding speakers, but for a lot more money and a much larger size. This speaker is still very compact but delivers a rich, powerful sound.... and still remains compact.

Bought this second unit to pair with the first I got a couple weeks ago to replace some wireless speakers. I like the bass and overall sound is very good. Range is definitely around 30 ft.

Bought this for our 15 year-old and he loves it. It has a lot of bass, the battery last a long time, and he enjoys messing with the light colors with his phone. Personally, I'd want a speaker with more mid-range. This has a lot of highs and lows, but the middle is rather weak. Its designed for the pop music he listens to and represents it very well; but for other styles you might want something different.

Great speaker sounds perfect, loud, battery last a long time. I want more of them.

Purchased this for myself bc I work construction and there’s a lot of noise. So I’ll be in my music zone and this SONY speaker is perfect. It’s portable and reliable when fully charged. It lasts all day on one full charge. Co workers always ask where did I get the speaker from and I tell them BEST BUY. Now there’s about 3 of us with this speaker lml

The speakers are great because they are small and very portable with good sound!

This is a great little speaker for the price. It is very loud and does have good bass. The sound can be a little higher because the bass is a bit overpowering but there is an equalizer that can change how the sound comes out. I did wish the battery was more accurate. It says 24 hours but they don't tell you that it's with the lights off, bass boost off and I'm not sure at what volume it has to be to get that kind of battery life. But i would say realistically at about half volume with the lights and bass boost turned off you can get 12 to maybe 16 hours.

Very pleased with my purchase. It was easy to install and was bumping in a matter of minutes. The lights and party-like feature makes it fun.

Great speaker with great sound! They are very easily paired with our devices and can be paired with other Sony speakers for sound throughout our entire house
