The speaker works exactly as it should. The Bluetooth connecting is easy and fast. The sound is loud and clear. I’m happy I went with this speaker ☺️

Like its predecessors this little speaker has great sound. Its compact size and wireless capabilities make it ideal to keep and use in the bathroom.

Amazing sound quality and the color changing lights are a very cool feature. I also like that you have full control of the speaker and lights with the app!

The Sony XB30 Bluetooth Speaker provides amazing lighting to go with any sort of music that you're playing, provides a small and portable design, making it super easy to be taken anywhere (even near water, a little water won't hurt this speaker), and the battery power to keep the music going all night (or day) long. The sound is amazing and if you need an extra kick up in Bass, all you have to do is hit the EXTRA Bass button on the far left of the speaker. Simple, easy, and doesn't distract you from doing whatever you're already doing. Connecting to the speaker is easy, you can either connect via Bluetooth or if you prefer, make sure you have NFC (Near Field Communication) turned on for your device and just bring the device and speaker close to one another and bam, you're connected and ready to play music or whatever audio you want to play. The speaker can be connected to smartphones, tablets, computers, and pretty much everything else with Bluetooth connectivity. You can even connect up to 10 other Sony XB30 Bluetooth Speakers together, creating a Party Chain of Sony XB30 Bluetooth Speakers. Or make it simple and connect another Sony XB30 Bluetooth Speaker for wider stereo sound. Or if you want to skip (or don't have Bluetooth or NFC) connecting wirelessly, you can always connect a 3.5mm cable into the AUX port in the back of the speaker. To further customize your Sony XB30 Bluetooth Speaker, you can install the Sony companion app that can be installed on your device so you can control more features and settings on the speaker. You can turn off or change the mood lighting used by the speaker, you can change the timer for when the speaker turns off on its own after being inactive for a certain period of time, and you can even turn the speaker off with the companion app if you're not near the speaker.

This speaker pairs easily, sounds great, has a grippy surface and is substantial in its construction. The buttons are in top of the case which give easy access and the charge port is concealed behind a door. The speaker can also be connected to other speakers and configured as left-right, I haven't used this feature but it seems this feature is a handy feature. The speaker has an LED lighting feature which is adjustable which can also be turned off. I've turned the lights off with my speaker as it significantly increases battery life for playing music.

I’ve had this speaker for about a year now and am constantly using it. The battery life is great for the size and the sound quality is amazing.

Good full sound. Fills the family room and has good bass. We turned off the flashing lights because they were more annoying than fun. Easy to setup.

Better sound and longer battery life than the XB20 that I sold. It came with a ac adapter which is better than the XB20 that only have a USB cable.

Great little portable Bluetooth speaker really jams out if you want it to. And pairing them sounds amazing.

Very easy to write this review. The item had a fast link up. It fill the room with music. Battery lasted a long time. Should've bought it along time ago.

bought this for use on campus, dorm/and around campus. More bass than similarly priced units. Good amount of battery life. Only downside is that this speaker is slippery to hold, so you have to be careful walking around with it.

Speaker has great sound for the size and is easy to connect to. Connection between other Sony speakers is a bit confusing at first but works very well.

We have 2 of these and they sound great. Got them on sale before Christmas. Bass boost makes a big difference in the sound. Great speaker from sony.

I bought this for my father in law for Christmas. We love it. The sound filled the whole room, the lights look awesome. And it sound really clear.

Great quality speaker for its size! The base has a button to turn on the extra Base. The sound of this little speaker is quality for the price.

I use it now as my office speaker. I also took it camping and it lasted a good while. Sound is great for as small as it is. Kind of surprising!
