This portable speaker is very powerful. The battery life is amazing once it's charged . I love the fact that I can charge my phone with it wherever I go

Excellent clarity; configurable response through the easily managed SongPal app. Could do without the flashing lights, but they can be easily disabled.

So I just purchased 3 "Baby Boom Boxes" and figured the one that sounds best, performs best, etc would get my money. I will not even list the others but to say there were both models UNDER $69 so I figured it was not possible to get the sound I was looking for in a package for less than about $100. I wanted wireless blue tooth, could care less about water proof. Good boom and good battery life. So then we get to the SONY product. I have always loved SONY as a true high quality brand, going back to the famous "Trinitron" screen TV. They make awesome electronics across the board......Laser disk players, Camcorders, etc. They were all awesome products so I would expect this to be the same. And it is! 100% awesome, easy to use. The first thing I did was charge it for like 6 hours. Treat the battery good and it will treat you back. :-) I figured out how to bind, what the basic controls are (Volume of course) :-) Totally amazing that you can purchase two of these and bind them together for a "System" ....party chain.....syncs the lights and cool stuff I have no interest for. But pairing (2) and going FULL stereo is very nice to have. I turned off the lights to save battery, kick on extra bass and let the boom begin. It has that room filling sound that now my wife enjoys a "Sound System" in the kitchen. This little speaker sounds like you expect, theater quality, with power full low end and crisp clear mid's and highs. Good battery life, and the wife loves the music streaming from the phone. It's the new normal. This speaker rocks and you will not be disappointed in any way with it, especially with the sound! I gave it perfect 5 star!

This speaker sounds great on Bluetooth or connected. The base is clear and you don’t loose the music.

Needed to replace an old bluetooth speaker and decided to go bigger. Originally wanted the xb40 because of the battery life but this xb30 is half the size and boasts the same. The controls on the top are extremely convenient, and it actually works for phone calls unlike my old one. The range on it is a lot arther than the advertised 33 feet as long as there are no walls. The battery life is also amazing although I believe the 24/hr life is only with the lights and extra bass turned off. I still got around 15+ hours of battery with both turned on.

Speaker has good quality of sound. Sounds pretty good for it’s size. Only wish it would come with some type of cover or small bag for traveling.

Had lots of base, produced clear music, and held up very well throughout our building rehab project.

Used for a party the first time Nd lasted many hours. Still was going strong after 8 hours and paired with a smaller speaker for more depth.

Me and my husband were comparing this speaker and the UE boom/ megaboom. We ultimately went with this speaker and I'm so glad we did! It sounds amazing! You have he option of lights on or off, in the app you can change your sound settings (more bass,treble, etc) the battery life on this speaker is also just a amazing! All in all, I'm so glad we got this speaker!

Just would like to say this speaker is awesome. I have has many compliments on it taking it to work. Sounds great and is water resistant so I bought 2 and installed them on my SxS for a sound system. Turn the light off and the battery life is crazy long. Only complaint so far is the charging connector, wish it was a micro usb type (not a big deal).

Great portable speaker for indoors and outdoors. Great sound, battery lasts for more than 10 hours. Great at the Office or on the beach.

Bought this to use as a portable Bluetooth speaker and it has done its job. Nice sound and even has lights that look cool at night.

This little speaker sounds pretty boss! Sony makes prime products and for the price you can’t beat it. My daughter loves how it’ll light up to the beat. Thinking about buying a couple more for the pairing options. Tried this out in the store against all competitor brands and the only one that seemed to give it a run for its money was the Bose.

This sounds better than our Bose of equal value. It has a deep base for such a small item.
