Since I bought this speaker I've used it countless times around the pool and at the beach. The quality is great for the price and the connection is easy. The only issue is that my friends can "take over" my speaker and play their songs instead of mine!

We live on the lake in the summer - our older speed boat has no speakers but now we do. The music that flows from the speakers is very loud and can easily be enjoyed when the boat is at full throttle. Wink - wink - also like cleaning the house with "MY" music!

Really enjoy using the speakers. Being able to connect multiple speakers is awesome.

I bought this to use at work. It's good for my work space. I do wish it was louder. I enjoy the lights on the speaker. The two things I don't like about this speaker is when the power gets low it lowers the volume to a level you can't really hear. Also I would have like to have the ability to skip a song from it instead of always grabbing my phone.

Decent bass considering the size and pair up to the phone quite easily. The Sony app could be fun but besides controlling the light show on the front of the unit doesn't really add any value. Wish that unit would recharge via USB instead of having to keep track of yet another wall wart. Also seems to die after about 6 hours of playing, I anticipated a little longer.

good sound, we have two. I like the lights off feature and the add bass.

Bought this for over 2 years ago and I have been very satisfied with this. The batter could last a little longer and I wish the volume wouldn't automatically drop if the battery power goes down to about 30% which can be annoying. Other than that, I like the sound and the looks of this product.

Sound quality is really pretty decent. We purchased this for dorm room use, as well as occasional outdoor use and this speaker fits the bill. The ability for the app to control the speaker, lighting..is pretty cool. Only concern is that the speaker is a bit slippery to hold, so walking around with it or transporting it is a concern as I don't wa t to drop it.

This speaker is well worth the money. Very loud and has good bass. Feels durable and well put together. Also purchased the smaller model for my mother. There is a clear difference between the two, but the smaller model is also high quality and worth the money.

I'm between 3 and 4 stars. I bought 2 for stereo. Pairing for stereo and to get the app to work is difficult,. It works mind you but it is inconsistent and if you try pairing another device, you have to start all over with the device you paired previously. The app is inconsistent in its behavior and sometimes works, sometimes not. The "manual" says the speakers shut off if no music is being played (after 15 mins) but this is NOT true if you are bluetooth connected! No where is this indicated in the "manual." Fortunately, I found an app that will shut off bluetooth at a set time so this feature does finally work for me. Although the sound on these little guys is great, I always wonder when I turn them on if I have to go through it all over again to re pair the speakers to my digital player or if it might pair it automatically which it sometimes does, sometimes does not. I think I know more about this product and how it works than Sony as their tech help was not helpful

I was looking for a new Bluetooth speaker and saw this on sale for 80 bucks. This is perfect for someone that wants to take it to a pool party or playing music in the shower. I do both but also take it when i travel for work or a weekend getaway.

I own many Bluetooth speakers and this is by far the best sounding best midrange and best bass on a Bluetooth speaker I’ve used. The lighting aesthetics is just an added bonus. SONY has done it once again!!
