I love the speaker and lights to go along with it realize that I no longer need a stereo I can just use my phone no longer need a home stereo can't even take it in the car if need to pretty badass I would recommend it

This Sony XB40 packs a punch when dropping some bass , download the music center app, then the fiestable add-on for additional control of sound and lights. Woukd definitely recommend this product.

Super loud, extra bass is great. A little heavy but it works out just fine. Good looking product and love the lights.

Sounds great. Bluetooth works well. Lights add a little fun and extra bass adds a little extra boom if you need it.

I listened to several speakers in the store before I decided to purchase this item. The sound is amazing and actually has a better sound/ bass quality compared to the Bose speakers.

I use this with my iPhone. Great sound and easy to use. The sound is full and not tinny as with other Bluetooth speakers. I would buy this again if I needed additional speakers.

Sony has done it again! This is fine speaker for any occasion and any age group. Whether you are a classical music fan, a heavy metal fan or anything in between this speaker can handle it. Sound is crisp, clear, has adequate bass and it has excellent battery life. It is also full of convenient features. I bought it on sale for $150 and it was worth it. RUN TO BEST BUY! NOW TAKE IT HOME AND GIVE A LISTEN YOU.. WILL NOT RETURN IT!

I purchased two of the Sony XB40 and spent over $500. We had trouble pairing both speakers together to have sound from two speakers while listing to CD's & streaming songs from paid internet music sources, which is why I purchased them. Sound was heard from only one speaker at a time. As we attempted several times, to pair them together, one speaker would have sound and the other wouldn't have sound and vise versa-switching from one speaker to the other, back and forth. Never could get sound out of both speakers at the same time. Of course, the sound would be much better with two speakers. We finally bagged the portable wireless Bluetooth speakers along with poor internet connection in an open remote area in the mountains and relied on the good ol' Boom Box. I don't think the value is there for what they cost. Maybe they'll be worth it upon more training for Dummies with pairing smart bluetooth devices and speakers and having a strong internet connection in urban areas.

Sony did it again with a great speaker that you can adjust by also pair with other speakers. Sony has made a great product for years that has been very dependable.

I was contemplating several of the products in this arena, and was close to buying the Bose system. But catching this on sale I was able to buy 2 of these for about the same price as one of the Bose. While this may not suit an audiophile, I find the sound to be crisp and with plenty of bass for sitting out on our back deck. And the kids like the lights so it suits our needs quite well.

I was looking for a speaker that was loud enough to use outdoors and that was waterproof so I could use it near the pool. I really like how the bass sounds with this speaker; better than a few I've tried within the same price range. The lights are a neat touch and it can get a decent amount of volume when turned up all the way. I haven't tested it near water and haven't really gotten to test the battery life since I just bought it but so far, I'm pleased with the sound quality and bass. Only thing I don't like is that it's not 360 sound. I hope to buy another one to pair with and see if this is a doable workaround.

Although the price is a bit high for Bluetooth speaker, hubby wanted this one. Read good reviews about it and bought online and picked up in store same day. It's Great! Kids love the colors, long lasting battery and you can manage all kinds of settings on your cell. Love that it's small, but mighty. I can throw in my bag on the go. Bought for our trip to Big Bear and friends loved it

We purchased two of these Sony xb 40 to use with our Dot around our pool area. We like good sound, but in no way are sound geeks. The speaker sounded good in the store. The amount of bass is definitely noticeable when comparing to other similar models. But outdoors, it sounds GREAT! Set up was really easy and I had no trouble pairing with the Dot or linking them together.

This speaker has awesome sound quality. I use it for about 30 minutes every morning and it goes MONTHS in between charges. Really happy with it.

Yes the speaker is a little expensive. But it’s excellent. It sounds great and it has a great sound level and I would recommend you buy this

I've had the xb30s, graduated to Xbox 40s,I purchased a pair, for work, midnight mission kitchen, and jam great working music, for self, volunteers 24 hours on charge, but best of all, water proof, and I always carry one speaker,my back pack, fits perfectly, and sounds great,stereo sound, lots of compliments, $$$$ well spent,I am more than satified

This speaker has great bass with clarity. Great battery life. A plus, you can sync multiple speakers for a full surround party feeling.

This is a great speaker, it’s loud and has the ability to connect to other speakers. It’s also water resistant and the sound it great!
