I was very impressed with the sound quality from such a small speaker. Love the fact that you can hook up another speaker to it!

Overall a great speaker but the battery life is not as advertised. Maybe if you shut off all the lights and bass. The battery read out is always wrong too.....the whole battery aspect just needs to be redesigned.

Sounds good, bass is a little lacking. Full sound, but Bluetooth does disconnect at random times. Also when the battery hits about 20% it goes to lowest volume. That's annoying

Bought this to use in our camper, water resistance helps since it will be outdoors. Wife loves the light show

This is a very excellent product. At first, I was scriptable buying this product, this product has a great bass sound.

Purchased as a gift. The recipient liked the sound it produced - and his main request was a speaker with "good bass".

When I started writing this review I had a slightly negative opinion of the speaker. However, I started poking around the app a little bit, and my first comment would be- Get the "Sony | Music Center (songpal)" app and set the sound settings to your personal preferences. While I like some bass, I prefer a little more treble than I was getting.. After fine tuning it, I love the sound quality of the speaker, and might see if I can get a second one to make it left/right stereo speakers. It's worth noting only other Sony speakers seem to be compatible with the left/right mode. I really enjoy the lights, they seem to go with the music, and with the app you can customize them - such as making them a solid color, or even turning them off to save battery. The battery itself seems to be pretty good, and Sony claims it will play for up to 24 hours (I presume with lights off) on a single charge, and I think I believe them from what I've seen so far.'' While pairing the device to the phone is "Easy" (all I did was tap phone to radio and it paired using NFC), I would get the app first and pair from within the app. If you don't do that, it seems you need to un-pair the speakers before re-pairing them in the app (and again, the app is where you get the settings for the speaker). Water resistance should be nice to have in the summer, as I might take it out by the pool or that kind of thing.

i bought it in sale, the quality is really good. I had 2 and they are easy to pair

Linking up the speakers is simple but sometimes can be a little annoying because the order is too specific

This line of sony BT speakers are decent, although they do suffer from muddy sound. If you tune them with app based EQ it helps. My high school and college age kids love them, and the sale price was great.

I like the lighting effects. When I connect multiple speakers I get sound all around my room

Bought it as a Christmas present and it was very well received! Now mind you, he's a picky listener. He wants great sound and he wants to hear it clearly. This speaker fulfilled just that! Great choice.

It was awesome the sound was great but after a while it wouldn't sound so great. Like if you would walk away with your phone and it would start skipping.

I personally believe this is the best speaker you can get at this price range. Only downside is it’s not a 360 degree sound output device compare at lot of other BT speakers out in the market.

this is excellent! so easy to connect with bluetooth. sony deliveres every time.

The fit and finish looks good with the lighting effects but the sound quality is not as good. The louder you turn up the sound the more the bass get erased. They do have an equalizer setting but in order to here any bass you must cut it off with Max volume. Overall it's not that bad but for the money they are asking for it sucks big time. Just go with the JBL Charge 3 to save some money or if you want much better sound go with the JBL Extreme instead.
