Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally got the XB30 which is also a great sounding speaker but wanted the bigger speaker. Both are good for parties, loud enough to hear even with a crowd of people at a party. The battery lasted for a month using it for about an hour a day and 2 parties for about 6 hours each without charging for the month. Sound quality is great and hard to believe that so much sound is coming from such a small speaker. I'm glad I purchased this speaker and the Manager at the Oswego, Il store let me exchange the smaller model for the bigger one even though I was happy with the XB30. Great customer service, use this over my Amazon Echo for outdoor parties

I use mine daily, so sound was a big concern with me. This little black box delivers and then some. We use it outside for entertaining during the summer time, and you can hear it all over the yard. The lights are customized to your liking, and always are nice to watch as it dances to the music you play. Easy set up and everything.

Speaker is the BOMB

The sound is great and the light show is a bonus, they are addicting sometime I sit and listen to music and just watch the light show. Thank you Sony

Great Bluetooth Speaker

I always love a good light show and the battery life make this my new go to portable bluetooth speaker.

However, there is an illuminating disco light that pulsates and it disturbs me. I also happened to get a call while using and it was easy to answer my call but not easy to hear any of the conversation. The sound is great but the disco light I hate. I am sure you can turn off light but truly not needed and that is why I think it is for young people. No adult wants changing color lights while music is playing unless they live in COLORADO.
