Even though this isn't a fully portable speaker because it needs an outlet, it definitely is a good buy. It is loud and sounds well balanced with the lows, mids, and highs. Only being turned up all the way it gets a little muffled with all the sound but still maintains good clarity. You don't need to turn it up all the way because it does fills up the room with sound, it's good with covering most of my two story house. I haven't tried it in a party yet but I am sure it will bring the party to live with music, easily. I just wish it had more lower frequency to hit the deeper bass, I love me some bass. A few more features would be lovely too, like an HDMI in and out port to connect to a tv instead of RCA ports. Also a port for Karaoke! Overall, happy with this speaker!

As a PE teacher I was looking for something loud that works when I'm teaching in a gym full of elementary kids. These speakers do the job and more. I can control it with my phone via bluetooth and it has its own app. A little pricey but worth it.

I must have mulled over the decision to purchase this speaker system, for almost four months time. I was so skeptical that Sony had come back around in the quality and innovation departments: In regards to their products. I had loved Sony products in the past: However, it had seemed to me they began focusing more on gross profit. After this purchase, Sony has restored some of the faith I once had in them. In my opinion; crystal clear mid and highs; as well as solid bass punch. Light sequences are alot of fun as well. Plenty of power, and remains super clear even over Bluetooth connection. Very convenient connection options are available. If I had only one minor whine: It is the light sequences are totally random; and not effected on bass punch, treble hits, or voice pitches. Still love this monster. Thank you.

Absolutely the most wonderful crisp clean sound ever bass boosted sounds out of this world. Little pricey but well worth! Equivalent to beats pill XL and in my opinion waay better so save some money and get this one

I teach a fitness class to about 35 women in our local community. This puts out plenty of quality sound and is very easy to pair my iPhone to. I would surely recommend this to anyone looking for this type of speaker system.

I have “upgraded “ to larger and more powerful features than my previous purchase of the portable Bose four years earlier. I’ve been looking for some serious volume and I’m really impressed with this speaker! Great for party and movies. Just hook up with your devices Bluetooth and then you get serious boom!

Lights, music, nfc and most important perfect sound makes this the best party speaker. Integrate this with a Google home mini or regular Google home though Bluetooth and you can pay any music just by voice commands

This Sony Extra Bass Audio System it’s really Nice for a party’s

With 470W of power, this speaker is impressive. The best of all is the Sony app. You can control the mood of the lights, the equalizer and add music apps to your liking like YouTube, Pandora etc..The downside, no mic input.

The speaker is loud and clear (very loud as my wife won't let me max out the volume) and the lights make it a one piece party. The speaker is wireless (as in Bluetooth) but it is not cordless. The speaker does not have an internal battery and must be plugged in to a power source. It's a great product and I would purchase again.

Finally got my speaker!! I've been looking at this for some years but didn't want to spend the money. Thank God I waited for it to go on sale. This speaker does not disappoint. Perfect for house parties, and very loud. Lights that change color is a bonus. Only thing I don't like there's no spot for aux plug.
