Great Wireless Headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones are great! They have three different ear buds sizes that can easily be changed to fit your ear and they are not heavy. I really enjoy the sound quality, definately Sony style. You get a nice extra bass with crisp sound. The controls on the side are easy to manage. Great for cycling or running. The battery lasts 8 hours and charges fast. It has amazing bluetooth capability and stay connected through walls. The only downside is that they are really not made for small ears, and so they stick up a little bit which may cause for them to fall off occassionally. Otherwise, highly recommend.

Excellent Sound Quality
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had requested these from Best Buy’s Tech Insider Network in the hopes that I could use them instead of my wireless over-the-ear headphones that become fatiguing after watching a 2 hour movie. This was my first pair of earbuds and I quickly found out that anyone with a disabling condition that affects the feeling, dexterity, or fine motor skill of the hands will have difficulty using these and probably any other earbuds. No reflection on Sony, but everything about ear buds is just too small for the disabled and better left to those with good hands. To appropriately evaluate these earbuds for this review my wife helped me use them. I am amazed at the great sound quality coming from such a small device. I mostly use them for watching TV, but I have used them to listen to music through my Android phone and my iPad Pro and the sound is phenomenal. From the comfort aspect, once the earbuds are installed in and hooked around the ears they stay put with minimal readjusting even throughout an entire evening watching TV. They are very comfortable to wear. Since they come with multiple sizes of ear tips, take the time to try each pair of tips to find the size that fits your ear canals best. If you don’t do this, the poor fit will adversely affect your listening experience. I continue experiencing difficulty with the Bluetooth pairing/re-pairing of these Sony earbuds to our Bluetooth dual-headphone audio transmitter. That transmitter allows two different Bluetooth devices to simultaneously receive the audio output from our TV. Our two headphones reconnect fine every time we go to use them. However, these Sony earbuds and the audio transmitter have to be put back into pairing mode every time we go to use the earbuds. Because the headphones reconnect fine to the transmitter, I’m thinking it’s the fault of the earbuds, but I can’t be sure. Once connected to the transmitter they are fine for that session. Once again, due to their small size, it was tricky for me to connect the USB plug for recharging. However, someone with able hands should have no problem. I did not use them to answer cell phone calls so I cannot evaluate that feature. Overall, I can recommend these high quality Sony earbuds to anyone with normal hands. Those with any disability of the hands should be looking at larger headphones if they want a satisfactory listening experience.

Really good!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earbuds sound great, and they were well worth the money. Pros: 1. The sound is great with really good bass. 2. They fit snug to my ear and don't slip out when exercising. 3. A very small battery indicator appears on my phone showing how much power is left. It's so small, it's hard to read, but it's better than nothing. Con: 1. The controls are on the top of the right earpiece, and the buttons are hard to press with just one finger. I have to grab the earpiece with my finger and thumb to press the buttons. No big deal, though. They last about 6 hours on a full charge. As far as the complaints from other reviewers about the cord making noise, I've experienced the exact same thing with every other pair of earbuds I've owned. It's no better or worse with these.

Fantastic! Dont mistake Bass for lack of detail!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fantastic headphones! They fit great and have many options to make sure it fits most of the population. The sounds is terrific and not only it has a Lot of bass but it is also controlled not just bloated like a Skullcandy. Best part is you get the big bass BUT also keep really good detail with mids and highs. Soundstage is pretty good for an in ear headphone. Compared to powerbeats, bose and jaybird freedoms, this to me are the best sounding. The 10minute charge to get 1 hour of play time when in a hurry is an amazing feature. Highly recomended!

Great for those planning on going wireless
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In my experience, sony has always produced excellent headphones. The MDR-XB80BS is no exception as it meets and exceeded my expectation for wireless in-ear headphones. To begin, the comfortability of the headphone is as it should be. It sits in your ear without feeling like a burden. And, as advertised, they stay in your ear through any rigirous workout/exercise you intend to do. This could be improved though, in my opinion, if the wire that connects the two earpieces together could be a little shorter. It seems that the wire would brush up against any shirt that contains a collar, and can produce the similar effect of someone yanking on your earphones. As for the wireless part, these earphones have great battery life - I've had wireless headphones that don't last as long. Bluetooth pairing is a breeze, as it should be. However, the buttons on the earpieces itself feel a little too stiff to me, and it is probably something that I'll eventually get used to. Overall, it's a great pair of headphones. They're compact, and certaininly designed to take a beating. I would definitely recomment this to anyone looking for a pair to go along with their daily routine.

Sony bluetooth headphones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound is good but they stopped charging after a few months. The insulation around the wire started to break. No more sony headphones for me.

Good buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first wireless headset that I actually spent a chunk of money on and I can say I am happy. Today was the 3rd set I purchased and ended up with these Sony's. I first purchased the Beats Power 2 and confirmed my initial opinion, they are overrated. I returned them within the first 2 hours. I will say they are comfortable and has great highs, mids, and lows, however the deal breaker for me was the lack of bass. I guess I expected more for the money I spent on them. Then I exchanged them for the Jaybirds X3 but couldn't get them to fit my ears comfortably and kept falling out. So I finally got these and will say I am surprised they are comfortable and overall sound quality is satisfying. I listen to everything from classical music to hip hop which is better with bass. One thing I can verify from other reviews, there is the chaffing sound when turning your head and touching the cord. This doesn't bother me much so I am happy. I honestly think it stands out to me because I read a few reviews about it, other then that I probably wouldn't have even thought of it. After researching and 2 exchanges, I'll stick with these!

Ok headphones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They don’t have the typical “ExtraBass” sound that other Sony headphones do. Earbuds don’t stay in your ear. Price should be be cheaper, about $60-$80 or so. Just ok to me
