Wonderful Sound And Comfortable Too!

I've tried other pairs of headphones in the past and these are the best. I wear glasses and they still fit great and the sound is wonderful. I did have an issue pairing them with my phone but that resolved itself when I turned the Bluetooth off then back on. It comes with a cable so you can listen at your computer or with any device that doesn't have Bluetooth. You need to be careful how you connect it because ends really do matter in this case. The tip with the gray plugs in to the headphones and the other in to your device and make sure you push all the way in. If you don't, you'll lose half the tracks. The headphones also come with a Bass Effect button. I personally don't care for it. To my ears it makes the song sound like it has something that doesn't belong. It could also be the songs I listen to as well so try it. My Bluetooth did cut in and out a couple of times but it wasn't a problem for me. I think these headphones are great and I really enjoy using them.

Bought them as replacement for old headphones. Lasted one week. Had to return them. Sound kept breaking up. Do not buy them - stick with Sony hard wired.

Almost Beats Quality

These have pretty great bass, decent battery life at 20 hours but the mid-quality, packaging and lack of a carrying case makes it miss the mark these were aiming for. I had the Beats Solo 3 which I ended up returning for these but the Beats at least came with a case, carabiner, nicer headphone cable and excellent packaging to make up for it's few shortcomings. I got the Sony Extra Bass headphones at a great price and that was it's only saving grace against the over priced Beats that were at least much louder but too much money for what it offered. Grab the Sonys if you get them at a great price, otherwise look towards the Studio 3s.

These headphones are an overall good product. They do produce good quality sound and have a comfortable fit. However, compared to some competitors, the sound is lacking a bit. Regardless, for the price difference, these are still a good deal.

The bass on these headphones are amazing I must say, BUT, they’re not as loud as I’d like. I was in my room completely alone, it was completely quite, and these headphones just weren’t loud at all, you can hear them when they’re not on your head, but when you put em on, not loud at all with the volume all the way up. I workout with headphones on, so when I was jogging they were slipping off and came off my head easily even with the tightest grip. They fit very comfortably and have good bass is the only pro. So I’m sticking with Beats because of sound quality, and they stay on my head .

I purchased these about 2 years ago and they still look and sound great just how I bought them. They are easy to connect through bluetooth, They are very comfortable and the Extra Bass Feature is a game changer. I take care of them, make sure they are clean and Im sure they will last you a long time.

I purchase this wireless headphone and was overall very pleased with the sound quality and the great features it comes with such as Bluetooth and NFC (Near Field Communication). However, the headset material that holds the ear phones appears to be made of some type of plastic which broke one month after my two year Best Buy Warranty ran out. Sony needs to change the material or design of the headset to make it more durable.

I love these headphones! The sound quality and bass are great, battery life is amazing, and I'm confident enough to let my child just touch them. I would highly recommend these to anyone who care about their headphone and don't just want a piece of name brand plastic

These Sony wireless headphones are really well designed. The ear covers are soft and they do block out outside noise - this is important to me so that I don't pinch my ears and I don't then get a headache - which some headphones cause. They are light and easily adjusted to fit your head. The sound is excellent and the on-board volume and bass adjustments are well positioned and useful. You can Bluetooth pair these headphones with multiple devices. Just be sure when you are trying to pair with a second device that you power on holding the on button about seven seconds not the normal two seconds. I did install Sony's CONNECT app on my android phone and this makes it easier to change bass settings and also allows you to select environments like Outdoor or Arena etc. These headphones are wireless but you can use the included 1/8" jack cable to connect wired if you wish, and it has a microphone so you can use it to attend classes on a PC where you listen and may also need to speak - nice. I found the online manual very useful, you can find it here: http://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/xb950b1/v1/en/contents/TP0001177777.html There are also forward, play, back buttons on the headphones. The price is low for this much dependable technology and I really found these headphones worthy of a strong recommendation.

When I first tried these out, I was really amazed by the clarity. Daft Punk's "Lose Yourself to Dance" had so many layers of instruments I hadn't noticed before, and Micheal Jackson's "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough" is gorgeous. I made it through two songs before I had to have my wife hear what I was hearing. There's an optional app that works with the headphones to let you change the sound field you're hearing (large hall, stadium, club), but for me, the differences were pretty minimal, so I haven't changed the sound beyond the first day I tried the app.
I listen to a lot of podcasts, and I immediately noticed that the headphones emphasize the bass in everyone's voices, and even with the bass boost off, it's just something you have to deal with.
I REALLY love that there's an optional headphone cable for them too, because if I'm editing video or making music on my phone, having any kind of delay in the audio makes for a really annoying experience.
Phone calls are really clear and easy to answer and end, and they block out a lot of external noise too. I wore them while mowing a 1/4 acre of land and even though I could hear the lawnmower, it didn't keep me from enjoying everything I heard in the Sonys.
Overall, I love them. And if I could turn down the bass a little more sometimes, they would be near perfect.

I've been a DJ for over 30 years and have an affinity for quality sound. The music that is generated by this headset is exceptional. I compare it to the most expensive and best headsets I've ever tried. For the price, Sony can't be beat!
