Wanted a Bluetooth headphone to use with my new TV. Had bought the same model last year and was happy with sound and ease of use.

I found it to be a great value. To find something better would have cost me $200 more.

She loves her new head phones, I think she wears them to much. It's like she isn't even around, when she right there.

These are awesome! We purchased it for a gift and she loves them. You can’t hear anything outside.

I use it svery morning for about 3 hrs and they sound better than my Samsung thats my opinion anyway.

These headphones are good for blocking out noise but do not have a good range on them.

I like the Sony MDR-XB950B1 headphones they provide good acoustic isolation from surrounding sound and avoid intruding on people around me. With the Extra Bass feature the I think the sound is very full and rich, (YMMV). I think the designers probably had overcoming some of the limitations of today's Ipads, Iphones, Tablets and Smart Phones with their small speakers and thin formats MDR-XB950B1 headphones are large with 40mm drivers and drive electronics to match. Over the last 5 years I have had 4 different Bluetooth earbuds or over the ear headphones none of them were as sophisticated as the Sony's or as expensive. All of my earlier Bluetooth devices did a reasonable job of duplicating the sound the tablet or smart phone produced, but the Sony MDR-XB950B1 is the first headphones I have had that I think approached theater audio quality. And for Bluetooth devices they are the first that offered a long enough battery life to eliminate the urge to recharge the headphone battery each night, Sony claims an 18 hour battery life and so far having only had the headphone for just over a week I can't dispute the claim, and there is a wired connection option if you run the battery down. I have tried the headphones with tablets with Android versions 5.x and 6.x and with a cell phone with 7.x it has had no trouble connecting and linking with any of them. The Sony Headphone Connect Android application V1.0.0 doesn't work with Android Versions below 6.0 although the headphone connects and links to Android Version 5.x just fine and Bass Boost can be controlled manually from controls on the headphone. The Android devices I tried had Bluetooth versions from 4.0 to 4.2 and the latter had some additional support for changing surround sound profiles. I don't have an Apple Device so I can't comment on the performance of the headphones on them. I recommend the Sony MDR-XB950B1 headphones but they are costly, however I would replace mine if they were lost or damaged. I am giving a rating of 4 stars because of the cost and the issues with the The Sony Headphone Connect Android application V1.0.0 not working with Android V5.X.

Great product for the price. Good for kids and young adults

The noise blocking ability of these headphones is actually better than I thought it would be.

Sound very adequate. was not aware only charging was by computer until after purchased. Also do not work during recharge.

These headphones were the perfect gift. The metallic blue finish really make them pop.

I had bought the headphones because they have great sound but this is the second time I’am having them replaced because they keep breaking from the same place which is the part that holds the earpiece of the headphones. I wish they will fix the problem. Other than that I’am very satisfied with the headphones

These head phones are wonderful. They sound like the Bose I used to own, but at a lower price.

I returned my old one and get different color for a sale price (50 % off).

I am an audio engineer and I can attest to the exceptional sound quality of these phones.

I highly recommend these headphones... Save some money and buy these instead of beats...
