Excellent sound, love the bass boost (which you can turn on and off), love the app that lets you fine tune a few things. The only thing I can think of to comment on is the size - these are a bit big and bulky. But I wanted over-the-ear, so I guess that's the price you pay. They at least have to be big enough to cover your ears, right?

The active noice cancelling is awesome in these Sony's. While heavier than the xm3000 they are a cheaper alternative and the bass enhancer is pretty nice. You can turn it off or on, the battery life is outstanding. My only issue is having them around your neck isn't really an option as they aren't very maneuverable.

Very comfortable. I travel a lot and does keep out the airplane noise while watching movies , reading or sleeping. High quality product.

These are comfortable on the head even when wearing glasses. The bass is good and sometimes a bit too much. It has good highs and mids, but can be over powered by the bass at times. The noise cancelling is decent. It cancels out a good amount of noise, but you can still hear certain sounds. The sound quality is good and no complaints there.

I originally had these headphones before I upgraded but I must say they are definitely really high quality headphones compared to others around the same price in terms of comfortability, sound quality, bass, etc. I will say that wearing them for a while does irritate your ear after awhile from my personal experience.

I bought these because they were on sale for half its regular price. They work well and I like the color. They fold compared to the MDR-XB950BT. The voice prompts are annoying the app sucks and every once in a while the sound cuts out. Its less than a second but its annoying. My MDR-XB950BT dont cut out at all so i don't know what the issue is. I still like them and hopefully they connect better. I would say the sound is identical to the MDR-XB950BT when I've used them side by side. Don't really see a difference between the two even with the noise canceling on. The bag is ok and works fine for travel.

Fits comfortably, great noise cancellation & adjust the sound to your liking. Personally the best wireless headphones I've purchased.

These headphones are quite convenient for use on airplanes wireless with my iPhone or with the included audio cable with the airline's movies. Charges quickly with a USB charger and a standard USB cable. Many flights, many movies, much music. Noise cancelling seems to me to be excellent. Could not tell any difference between them and Bose. Bose does not publish their numbers, so numerical comparisons cannot be done. Since Sony does publish their specs, I prefer Sony products over "trust me" types of advertising.

These headphones are very comfortable and produce great sound. They’re comparable to most of the expensive headphones on the market.

Pros: options of both cordless or can use cord for longer battery use, appearance is sleek, Comfortable to wear,great bass, NC is really good, 22 hours of use when charged fully Cons:you need a personal computer to charge, doesn't come with a hard case for storing, the leather headphones will need to be replaced after a while.

The sound quality on these headphones is excellent! I’ve loved the Extra Bass feature these have for their price. The battery life is good & they don’t break from any accidental drops. They’re durable with great noise cancelling

Comfortable on ears, even after wearing a while. Sometimes people have trouble hearing me when I'm on a call, but not very often. Battery life is good, although it only shows low, medium, high, not a %. Noise cancelling is good, but doesn't make a difference when listening to music-no additional noise diffusion.

Compared to most Sony offerings, the XB950N1 is balanced. The lows will only overpower the mid and highs if you turn the bass all the way up using the extra bass button. If you prefer to be heavy on the bass, use the extra bass button paired with the Sony app (to select your bass volume 1-10, useless app otherwise)to make your beats as loud as you like. I like loud but not ear piercing and I haven't noticed any distortion at my usual volumes. The noise cancelling feature works. The slider to change the track or play/pause isn't my favorite, especially when placed next to flat volume keys (think the keys on the side of your smartphone). It's easy to skip to the next track when you just want to adjust the volume but this is rather minor especially considering I'm normally using my phone to adjust the volume. Overall, I can summarize my review with this: I went to Best Buy to purchase a portable Bluetooth speaker and left with awesome Bluetooth headphones. They blew me away with the quality in terms of clarity, richness and as mentioned, balance. While I'm at it, skip the Sony and JBL offerings for portable BT speakers and go for Bose, there's no comparison. I got these for 180 and they feel worth every penny.

Music is my therapy . I am disabled with chronic back and spine issues and most of the time medication does nothing for my pain . Music relaxes me , take's the edge off and distracts my mind from the pain . The moment I put on the Sony - XB950N1 Extra Bass Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-the-Ear Headphones and turned the volume up I was sold . Set up was a breeze , I have them on right now . Also my wants to go back and get her own Sony - XB950N1 Extra Bass Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-the-Ear Headphones.

The sound of these headphones is great. The bass boost works well and the battery life is good. The noise cancelling is not the best, but it does alright.

I was looking for wireless noise reduction headphone especially when I mow my lawn. I like It And worthed for the price. Is great with indoor use too.

This pair of wireless headphones are great. They are very comfortable, feel of solid construction, sound quality is great. I like loud and half way on volume is loud enough. Noise cancelling is nice and bass rocks. I’ve tried beats headphones before and they don’t compare to how good these Sony headphones are.

I purchased the headphones because they're over the ear, noise cancelling and have extra bass. I've used them on two flights and they were comfortable.
