I received the Sony XB950B1 Extra Bass Wireless Over-the-Ear Headphones as a Christmas gift and the bass was too bold. I own several other Klipsch products so I researched their headphones. Even though they were $100 more, I’m very happy with the upgrade. The full-range audio performance of the Klipsch headphones is exactly what I was looking for in headphones.

These might just be the very best Sony headphones so far. There are certainly more expensive headphones out there, but probably not one that I love to listen to as much, due to their value, comfort, and above all, quality SOUND. 1) Sound quality is spectacular. Bass booster is wonderful. 2) Noise Canceling works perfectly fine. 3) Clarity of phone calls are really good. Super-easy bluetooth pairing. 4) Battery life is insanely good. I charge them every night and get a 10 hour work day in. 5) The volume, track, and call answer controls are great. Once you start using them you realize just how we they are placed. 6) They are built solid out of metal and higher quality plastics. 7) Ear Cushions are really comfortable for long term wear. 7) Cloth carrying case - it is okayish, but could have been a solid case, given the price range. 8) Sony Headphones App - Has preset settings, NC, etc. I don't use this so much after the inital setup. 9) Black color suits everyone. Overall, an excellent product from Sony, again. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who is willing to spend for quality sound.

Saved my sanity on a five hour flight to San Francisco. They're a little heavy, but every time I tried taking them off, the noise on the flight immediately made me put them back on. Aside from the weight, the cushening on the ear cups is perfect. If you're not willing to spend the extra hundred bucks to get the newer, lighter ones, this is your ticket.
