Looking for headphones with a microphone, I was delighted to find these had one built in. The headphones work fine.

I wonder why all the headphones I tested do not have an adequate volume control on the headset? Quality sound from this Sony.

one of my dogs chewed threw the wire jack....so, can't fault SONY...if only they made a dog-proof headphone set!

The quality of these headphones are sub par. The sound is great and I purchased based on reviews. The bass is good. However the band where the ear cup broke within the first month. I would recommend another choice of headphones based on the break.

Nearly everything about these headphones is perfect. Like many headphones above the $150 price range, it has the basics such as wireless functionality. However, the key facets advertised with these headphones definitely are noticeable and make it worth that $250 price tag. Pros: Aesthetically I really like the matte black and the use of the textured plastic as it eliminates fingerprints and keeps the headphones lightweight. The build quality is surprising great even though the plastic is used throughout. Comfort is one of the most important aspects in my opinion and these are nearly perfect compared to all other headphones I`ve used (even though this was unexpected looking at the bulkiness of the earcups intially) The ability to fold these headphones is one minor aspect that many times goes overlooked, but for travel I can`t express how useful this actually is. The extra bass is nice when listening to certain genres and watching movies and the Sony app is great to use so that I can adjust the bass boost up or down so that I don't just have two options of either on or off anymore. Then the greatest feature (as advertised) is the active noise cancellation as when no sound is playing you can hear surrounding sounds faintly, yet when sound is playing everything fades into the background and you only hear the sound playing. Cons: The one aspect that deters me from these headphones slightly as mentioned previously was how bulky they are due to the large earcups. This is one instance where the greater quality of the music forces sacrifices in asthetics. To some this may be a con, but others may prefer the superior sound quality as it is simply personal preference. Overall these headphones are definitely worth it in my opinion, especially if you can catch them on sale. I don`t see much need to upgrade to much more expensive headphones unless you are a true audiophile that is plugged into their headphones for numerous hours each day.

The quality is good but the audio cable slot did not fit my 3.5mm audio cord which was not good for using them with things that are not wireless.
