There is an extra bass button that that boosts the bass effect and a digital noise cancelling feature to block out the outside noise. Tapping the power button conveniently gives you the battery status over voice. Once you know the button placements, it is easy to use without thinking twice. There is an app that you can download to adjust the sound levels and battery level. The battery life is pretty good. It says 22 hours, but I have used it for few hours every day without charging it. The headphones also come with a wire if you want to use it without a Bluetooth connection. These headphones are not too heavy and very comfortable over the ears even after long hours of usage. I was able to connect to my Xbox One for game play and chat and it worked flawlessly. You can even connect to the phone and answer calls as this one has a mic. I do not own a Bose headphone to compare this with and attest to what other users might say in comparison. I had been using Monster headphone and this is a nice upgrade overall and definitely worth the purchase and would recommend it.
