The two big factors that encouraged my purchase is the wireless capability and the noise cancellation. The headphones are comfortable, the controls are simple and it comes with a basic carrying bag. I could have done without the extra-bass option. Overall great product.

Pretty decent noise cancellation for the price.I use mostly for intercontinental flights. decent battery been using off and on for a hour day for the past three weeks. Battery and sound control app is pretty bare bones and not a necessary install. wired cable seems a little flimsy.

These headphones have an awesome volume and bass. Plus it looks good on you around the neck.

The sound of this Sony headphones is great, excellent bass, noise cancelation feature very good, a little heavy for the size, price is good. Not so good that you need to download an application to meek it work and if you run out of battery can't use with wire to headphone jack.

Overall impressed, compared this with the XM1000 MX 3 and each one is tuned for specific customer. This is for the bass heavy lovers while the XM3's for people who prefer clarity. The noise cancellation is just ok though.

I bought this for a plane flight and they worked amazing now I use them when I mow and can’t even hear the mower and has a great sound with the bass booster I’ve heard in a pair of headphones

Got these as a gift for my daughter who travels. Very comfortable and definitely blocks out background noise she says. The cord was the selling point. She can use them wireless when she wants and corded when she can't, like on planes.

I love and enjoy it. I can clearly hear the base and sound is great.

These headphones work as advertised. I used them on a long flight and they were very comfortable. Noise canceling worked perfectly. I wish I could have afforded the next step up, the ones with hand gesture pause but I couldn't justify it. Just as good as the bose in my opinion.

My son bought these with money from Christmas and wanted a pair of Beats. He didn't have enough money and so I was trying to find him an alternative pair. When I put these on I couldn't believe it! They are awesome! He said they sound better than his friends Bose and Beats. He loves them!

Very study and well built headphones. Noise cancellation is a little lacking. Bass boost is nice but can be overpowering. Music quality exceptional at higher volumes, but dulls out at softer ones. Pricey for quality. Would recommend as a travel pair.

Was looking for headphones Bose quiet comfort 35. But these are good replacement for boss

I already had the 9501B headphones for the garage for 2 years and I love them. Over Christmas I got these for $120 on sale. I work from home and use these to talk with my team via Skype and they noticed no difference when I transitioned to the 9501N from my wired on ear headphones I'd been using for the last 4 years. The home furnace is in the basement and can get quite loud along with the space heater. Quen I turned on the mouse cancelling I could still hear the furnace however when I turned them off it was substantially louder. That's when I realized how well they actually work. Connecting to my phone and my computer via bluetooth was pretty simple as well. Not sure I would pay full price for any headphones but 120 was a bargain.
