I bought these for a trip and I am not disappointed. They work just as good as the day I got them and I have had them for a while. I highly recommend these headphones.

These headphones are awesome! They have noise cancelling and bass boost which will really rattle your head! I highly recommend these to anyone who is looking for an awesome alternative to overpriced Beats

This headset is for people who love to hear and feel the bass. It may be too heavy for some types of music but extra bass can be turned off. But I did notice that the headset has creaking noises so not sure about long term durability.

I did a lot of research on headphones before I bought these, and they live up to the reviews. Music and movies sound great, and I loved using them to shut out construction noise.

These are amazing. Easy to use, great sound quality and the extra bass feature is good. They got stolen twice! So i kinda got bad luck with them but i see why they were stolen.

I tested the headphones while operating my mower. The noise cancelling worked good and definitely worked in reducing the noise and enabled me to hear the music my cell phone was playing.

These headphones are so great, can’t hear any outside noise, especially my annoying friends that talk even when my eyes are closed, just kidding, not kidding

I was not sure about this headphone. But after reading the reviews I give it a shot. Glade I did I travel alot and these are fantastic. They really do cancel out the noise. Best purchase I made.

These wireless headphones are great, Took them on the plane and these really blocked out all the noise around me. Used them in the office when I wantt to block out all the background noise and it's perfect.

I have Bose and AKG wireless and wired noise cancelation headphones. The Sony with extra bass beats both. Great sound and clarity. Click on the extra base and you are carried to a live concert.

I like these headphones a lot. I got them on sale about $50 off so it was a good deal. The noises canceling feature works great to a point. I mean these aren’t Bose headphones but they still work great.

Holy Bass! My first use with these headphones and the extreme bass booster at max levels gave me a giant smile and a bit of a laugh. Not in a bad way but I was just amazed at how crazy the bass could be boosted. The headphones are very durable and made of a combination of hard plastic around the headband and metal. They are very comfortable and can easily be worn for long periods of time since the padding is a lot like what were use to from Sony's previous bass headphones. The buttons on the ear-cups are all easily accessible. You could find the noise cancellation button on the left ear-cup in front of the ear while the bass booster is behind the ear. Pressing either of these buttons during playback will interrupt the song to let you know you have turned that feature on/off. Both NC and Bass Booster work when connected to an audio device via AUX cable but the Bass Booster is a little more toned down than when connected via Bluetooth and the headphones have to be powered on. The headphones themselves will work when powered off and connected via aux cable but you won't be able to access NC or Bass Booster. The volume up/down button could be found on the right ear-cup behind the ear as well as the play/pause button just above the volume buttons. The play/pause button is also a slider that allows you to skip tracks or go back to the previous one. These buttons only work when connected via Bluetooth and not aux cable. During video playback such as on a site like YouTube, the sliders work as fast forward and rewind rather than skip to next video or play previous video. You do have to continually hold the slider either up or down to achieve this function. On to sound! The sound quality from these headphones are amazing! If you like to bump the bass then these are the headphones for you. The new Sony headphones app allows you to manually adjust bass levels to your desires. At max levels and volume at 100% these headphones will rock your ears! They vibrate very insanely and surprisingly do not hurt your ear drums. For songs with little to no bass then there really isn't a use for the bass feature so you can turn it down using the app or by pressing the physical button on the left ear-cup. Pressing the button will take bass level to 0 when turning off or 10 when turning back on. The range of the bass levels goes from -10 to 10 with the negatives only being accessible through the app. Overall balance is pretty good considering that the bass is the main focus with this pair of headphones. One good thing to note is that because they are bass focused, the highs will not hurt your ears when listening at high volumes. The surround sound feature in the app is not all that great and I recommend using these with that feature off because it just makes everything sound muffled and loses it balance. If you're listening to a song with vocals and a lot of bass then the vocals will be drowned out when using surround sound features. The noise cancellation is really good and up to par with some of Sony's other premium headphones with noise cancellation. Voices do seem to seep through more than anything but it is better to have NC on than to have it off. At the same volume levels with NC on you can definitely hear a difference than when it is off. Also, the balance is just a whole lot better with NC on. One thing to note is that these headphones will bleed sound when you approach 65% volume. If you are in a quiet room then someone else will be able to hear what you are listening to. So it is best to use these headphones below 65% volume in quiet places such as the library. Keep in mind that the lower the volume, the less noticeable the bass boost effect will be. Overall, I am loving these Sony XB950N1's. They are fun to listen to music in and videos aren't too bad either. The battery is very long at 22 hours which makes it comparable to other Bluetooth headphones in this price range. They are just a great pickup and I recommend them to anyone that is looking to increase their bass in their music and just have a great time listening to it. The noise cancellation is definitely worth the extra money if you're always in noisy environments but if not than the Sony XB950B1's should provide you with an equally pleasant experience at a cheaper price. Look into these headphones and you won't be dissapointed!
