Ridiculously awesome sound and volume for the size and I consider myself a bit of an audiophile (not the pretentious type). I take it to meetings all the time for mood music and presentations! Great rechargeable battery too! Has never run out on me either.

But for the size of it, the sound quality isn't fantastic. A little heavy on base and high tones not as clear as I would like. Volume is solid though. I bought it for home use and occasional outdoor. I decided on a BOSE which is smaller and not fabric-wrapped. And sounds better in my opinion. IF YOU ARE IN ALASKA YOU MAY NOT RETURN THIS ITEM BY MAIL. BEST BUY AGENTS WILL CONTINUALLY TELL YOU THEY ARE GENERATING A FREE RETURN LABEL. AFTER SEVERAL HOURS AND DAYS, I LEARNED THAT THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR ALASKA. IF YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY TO RETURN THIS, THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GIVE YOU AN ADDRESS TO SEND IT TO. YOU ARE STUCK WITH YOUR PURCHASE. THEIR ALASKA POLICY IS FINAL SALE, NO RETURNS, NO REFUNDS.

Good Sound But Could Be Better

Some music sounds better than others on this unit. Sometimes the high frequencies seem missing and the middle frequencies seem a bitt muddy, while the bass can sometimes seem heavy, especially at higher volumes. It would have helped if there were equalizer (bass and treble) controls, which this unit does not have.

I ran it for 6 to 8 hours every night. Now I use it for music. The quality of the sound is still amazing after how much it has been used.

And I will not lie I was a little nervous about buying this product. I can say all of my fears were wrong. This speaker is amazing and sounds incredible. From the thumping bass to the clear trebles it is truly amazing and the deal I got it for made it a even better deal.

Trust Me, Buy This Speaker

My son lost one when his truck was on fire and we quickly replaced. We use it kayaking and even throw it in the river. It floats and continues to play. It also works all day on the river, so I would say excellent battery life. The sound quality is amazing and is one of the loudest we have found. Trust me, buy this speaker!
