Make sure to charge the built-in battery sufficiently. The sound may become low in the following cases. This is not a malfunction.

-While the speaker is running on power from the rechargeable built-in battery, the sound may become low in the event that the rechargeable built-in battery is running out of power and the CHARGE indicator flashes slowly. This, however, does not indicate a malfunction.
-When the ambient temperature of the speaker is high.

The speaker has approximately 25 hours of battery life when fully charged. (Provided that the volume level of the speaker is set to 24, the sound effect is set to MEGA BASS, and the lighting function is set to off). Make sure to charge the built-in battery sufficiently. You can deactivate the Ambient Noise Sensing function using the Sony | Music Center app or the speaker button. This function is designed to detect environmental noises during music playback and help reduce power consumption and preserve the battery by cutting out bass sounds that may become hard to hear because of the ambient noise. Depending on the connected BLUETOOTH device, volume adjustment on the BLUETOOTH device may not change the volume level of the speaker (i.e. the (power) indicator does not flash).
