You can enjoy more dynamic sound (MEGA BASS effect). You can take either of the following procedures for setup.

At the time of purchase, the MEGA BASS sound effect is activated.

On “Sony | Music Center,” tap [SRS-XG300] - [Settings] - [Sound] - [Sound Effect] - [MEGA BASS].

Press the MEGA BASS button on the speaker.
Each time you press the button, the MEGA BASS sound effect is activated or deactivated.

The XE300 is designed more around portability rather than trying to get sound all around the speaker uniformly. Both of the XE3300s speakers are facing the same direction so you can get true Left/Right separation like the artist intended. And with the Line-Shape Diffuser, the sound spreads further to the front area of the speaker, allowing you to enjoy the same sound quality whether at the front or to the side of the speaker. You can also pair the speaker and the BLUETOOTH device again to isolate the issue. The sound may become low in the following cases. This is not a malfunction.
-While the speaker is running on power from the rechargeable built-in battery, the sound may become low in the event that the rechargeable built-in battery is running out of power and the CHARGE indicator flashes slowly. This, however, does not indicate a malfunction.
-When the ambient temperature of the speaker is high.

It is recommended to charge the built-in battery sufficiently.
