The Sony speaker will do this but the sound quality is not up to the level I would expect from Sony or this price point. This is not a Sonos guys. At least it’s rechargeable and portable.

1- Download the Sony Music Center app and adjust the Sound quality settings and the Equalizer to your preference
2- Switch the Bluetooth connection to Priority on Sound Quality
3- Press the MEGA BASS button on the speaker for a real enhanced bass effect
4- Turn on the Live Sound Effect within the Sony Music Center app, you can go to Settings > Sound > Sound effect > Live Sound

I have a $49 no-name speaker I bought at the swap meet that’s louder. Anyways I’d recommending upgrading to the $500 Sony speaker which is a lot of money but beautiful loud sound quality

The overall volume may vary depending on the source content. Turn up the volume of the speaker and the connected device. Make sure to also charge the built-in battery sufficiently. The sound may become low in the following cases. This is not a malfunction.
-While the speaker is running on power from the rechargeable built-in battery, the sound may become low in the event that the rechargeable built-in battery is running out of power and the CHARGE indicator flashes slowly. This, however, does not indicate a malfunction.
-When the ambient temperature of the speaker is high.
