Bluetooth lets me move it from room to room with no problem. The sleek design just melts right into the decor so you don't have to stare at an ugly speaker. The price point was perfect for what you get.

Awesome Product

It sounds very good for its size, and it’s battery life is great. I like its retractable handle. We bought this for use poolside, and we’re very happy with its performance. There is even a custom case available for this on Amazon.

Great sound quality with deep bass that has a notable difference between other Speakers/Brands of the same size (i.e. JBL Charge, UE Megaboom). Ive used it by the pool, at the beach, and indoors and sounds travels a lot further than expected, great speaker and quality for the price!

Does size matter?

I think its sound is kinda lack luster for how big it is qnd how heavy it is. I have used smaller and lighter blietooth speakers that pack the same or more punch with a lower price. The speaker produces pretty good sound but could be better with everything considered.

Portable Sony boom box

Great speaker for the price

Good sound quality and battery life. Seems durable and the size makes it a good portable speaker yet big enough for home use. Only complaint is the lights are placed on the ends so you don’t really see them when using the speaker. Definitely worth the price when compared to other speakers in its price range.

Solid Sound

Saw a great deal on it, so picked it up. -The fullness and bass were actually too much for my original intention of connecting to a tablet for movies in bed during insomniac nights lol:) (Got a smaller speaker for that) Portability makes it handy to take to different areas of the house, inside and outside.

Great little travel speaker

Paired it to my tv and its a great alternative to a soundbar. Basically operates the same anc you can takd it w you. I love this speaker. Operates on USB phone charge, mega bass, 3.5 cord audio input and Bluetooth. It can be connected to another XG300 in the room. And you can download the Sony app to connect it to you phone for EQ settings.

Best speaker I have used!

The sound quality is amazing and the bass is great (Especially on Mega Bass Mode). I often use it in my friend's car that has a broken stereo at the moment and it always gets the job done. The lights are great little addition as well.

Small speaker big sound

Wasn't too sure about the "diffuser" but honestly even with such a small slit it manages to sound so good at most angles.. Love this little thing! Battery life is great too!

Love the deeper bass sound. Great for backyard summer fun. Glad I went with this great speaker for the price. Seems very durable and battery life is great. USB-C is a superior charging system. Worth the money!

I waited a little to write to review just to make sure. We bought this for when we are out in the woods riding, we've carried it in backpacks on the bikes, used it while fishing (sitting on the bank) used it in a loud setting working in the house and during all of these activities the sound was never drained out. It packs a punch and gets the job done! Wayyyy to go Sony. Oh also we have gotten it wet with no problems at all. Not submerged wet but sat on embankment in the rain while fishing wet and it was fine afterward.

Its 'MEGA BASS' preset gives your music a warm and punchy sound that works well with a range of genres. The mid-range is balanced, which means vocals and lead instruments sound crisp and clear. However, the high-pitched vocals and instruments can sometimes sound dull. The speaker lacks low bass, which means you won't feel the deep thump and rumble in EDM or hip-hop. Luckily, you can customize the sound profile using the graphic EQ and presets in the companion app. But, even with customization, you may still not feel the desired thump and rumble. The speaker can get pretty loud, but at maximum volume, there's some compression that affects audio quality.
