Good value and quality portable speaker

Easy to use controls and very sturdy as my wife knocked it off the table onto our stone patio the day we got it, and not even a scratch. Have yet to test the waterproofing, but overall a great buy with the TotalTech discount.

Even Better Than Expected

We purchased this for this to use for entertainment at a family event but quickly realized it is just as functional as around the house when working outside in the yard or just relaxing on the back porch. Very satisfied with the product. Best Buy in Honolulu is seriously short staffed. No one available to help me. After 25 minutes waiting, I just decided to buy it and take a chance.

Love that the sound comes out the sides rather than front as it gives a surround sound feel. Great for a singer as it will support the voice rather than overpower it as well. It will play quite loudly if that's what you want.

The overall volume may vary depending on the source content. For optimum performance, make sure to charge the built-in battery sufficiently. The sound may become low in the following cases. This is not a malfunction:
-When the built-in battery is running low and the CHARGE indicator flashes slowly, while the speaker is being powered by the built-in battery only.
-When the rechargeable built-in battery is running low as a result of long-time use of the speaker at a loud volume even though the speaker was connected to an AC outlet by a USB AC adaptor (commercially available) or to a computer that comes equipped with a USB charging port.
-When the ambient temperature of the speaker is high.
Additionally, you can use the Party Connect function and Stereo Pair function to enjoy a more powerful sound. You may refer to these links for more information:
