By downloading the Sony Music Center app, you will find all sorts of tools to fine-tune the speaker using the built-in EQ and maximize the volume to ensure optimal listening experience. To get the most out of the volume, turn up the volume of the speaker and the connected device. You may also find different devices will perform better than others, as will different apps due to different types of audio compression and transmission. At the time of purchase, the MEGA BASS sound effect is activated.

On “Sony | Music Center,” tap [SRS-XG300] - [Settings] - [Sound] - [Sound Effect] - [MEGA BASS].

Press the MEGA BASS button on the speaker.
Each time you press the button, the MEGA BASS sound effect is activated or deactivated.

We regret to hear that you were not satisfied with the speaker. Your feedback is extremely important to us and is very much appreciated. For optimum performance, it is recommended to install the latest software version of the speaker (via the Sony Music Center app). It is also recommended to charge the built-in battery sufficiently. The sound may become low in the following cases. This is not a malfunction.

-While the speaker is running on power from the rechargeable built-in battery, the sound may become low in the event that the rechargeable built-in battery is running out of power and the CHARGE indicator flashes slowly. This, however, does not indicate a malfunction.
-When the ambient temperature of the speaker is high.

Additionally, you have the option to adjust the sound effects and equalizer function of the speaker to tailor-fit the sound quality to your needs. You can also use the Party Connect function and Stereo Pair function to enjoy a more powerful sound.
