Decent bathroom speaker

It definitely is waterproof for the shower. Maybe I am losing my hearing in my old age but JBL and even ONN speakers seem to have better clarity in sound. Still it works for what I got it for.

Decent sound for the price

I was expecting the battery to last a bit longer, but I primarily use it in my work van and plug into cig lighter usb charger. Decent for the price!

It's mediocre

So for a person who is looking hard bass, this is no it. Its awesome if you bring it to a pool party.

You can deactivate the Ambient Noise Sensing function using the Sony | Music Center app or the speaker button. This function is designed to detect environmental noises during music playback and help reduce power consumption and preserve the battery by cutting out bass sounds that may become hard to hear because of the ambient noise. Good but could be better

Wish it were louder but the build quality seems good. Powers on fast and connects fast. Better connection than a couple other speakers I have but the battery dies quite fast.

Make sure to charge the built-in battery sufficiently. The sound may become low in the following cases. This is not a malfunction.
-While the speaker is running on power from the rechargeable built-in battery, the sound may become low in the event that the rechargeable built-in battery is running out of power and the CHARGE indicator flashes slowly. This, however, does not indicate a malfunction.
-When the ambient temperature of the speaker is high.
You also have the option to adjust the sound settings of the speaker to tailor-fit the sound quality to your needs. You may find this link helpful:

The speaker has approximately 25 hours of battery life when fully charged.
