Great sound from a small package

I've listened to the Bose and Jbl with similar size and the clarity of sound is unmatched. In addidtion if you have other party mode capable Sony speakers you can play them together for more volume. All the way up to the block party size!

It beats out the other brands we have tried (Bose, LifeProof and Altec Lansing). My wife uses Bluetooth speakers in her preschool so they get used a lot.

Great product-not loud enough in big equipment

The reason we bought this particular speaker is to use in a piece of heavy equipment. In the store it sounded loud enough for our purpose. However, in a large piece of equipment, it does not go loud enough. Great product - just not loud enough for our specific purpose.

Depending on the connected BLUETOOTH device, volume adjustment on the BLUETOOTH device may not change the volume level of the speaker (i.e. the (power) indicator does not flash). I use a smaller one for meetings like Zoom and Teams. Maybe a little light on base, but if you're trying to bust down walls, you want a larger size, period.

Sturdy speaker for decent sound

Easy to use in mono mode but the stereo option (if you own two) unfortunately requires the app to be opened each time you want to enable stereo. Although they sound good in stereo given the sound stage of the music the sound can drop out momentarily due to signal issues.

Sounds pretty good.

Some what bulky compaired to a Bose of the same caliber but Bose wins the over all compairson. Only reason i settled was that the sony was $40 less then the Bose.
