Dislike the weight and although the light feature was cool, we ultimately choose the Bose SoundLink Resolve + for a warmer 360 sound. Disliked the clicking sound when device got more than 30ft away. Both topped out at about the same volume before distorting and paired well in party or stereo mode.

The speaker has an operating range of approximately 30 feet (10 meters) within a line of sight but will vary depending on the surrounding conditions. It is recommended to use the speaker within this range.
NOTE: Communication range will vary according to whether walls or other obstacles are located between the devices, the material used in the intervening walls, the presence of Radio Frequency (RF) interference and other environmental conditions, and the type of software being used, if applicable.
