At higher volumes it does go through the battery much quicker and the sound distorts at the higher volume. There are better speakers but this one for the size, battery life and water rating it was worth it.

Good Fidelity, could use more power.

I found it not to be loud enough for a big house with low ceilings or outside. Otherwise sometimes the bass boost over drove the speaker at peak volume. Overall good fidelity for the price. I always used JBL mini Bluetooth speakers before and may try Sonos as I’m hearing good things.
