It charges and hold power sufficiently for my needs. Not sure if mt cell does not have enough volume or the speaker. Don't get me wrong it is loud when in a quiet place, but I use while cycling and sometimes traffic and road noise lessen the volume that i can hear. Noting that unusual extremity it is a good speaker.

I only needed to fully charge it twice during the whole 5 days on the road. No blown sub noise when turned full volume. The app takes the bass boost another step up with the equalizer settings.
