    It is NOT loud as expected. It can fill a small room with good sound but once taken outside for outdoor fun, it loses all credibility as the sound has no real reach. I have an older $75 apeaker from Amazon that sounds way better. Too bad I can't return this item, I just tried it this weekend for an outdoor event and everyone complained on how low it sounded.

    Sony impresses, yet again. Totally worth the money. However, I was not expecting what I got. The sound is just so...full. Deep bass crystal clear sound and compact.

    It’s not that loud if I could still hear my wife talking and I have it at full blast not that good

      When the rechargeable built-in battery is running low as a result of long-time use of the speaker at a loud volume even though the speaker was connected to an AC outlet by a USB AC adaptor (commercially available) or to a computer that comes equipped with a USB charging port.

      When the ambient temperature of the speaker is high.

      If the sound becomes low while in use, follow the procedure below.
      Turn off the speaker.
      Charge the built-in battery sufficiently.
      Turn up the volume of the speaker and the connected device.

    This is a really bad sounding speaker

    This speaker sounds bad compared to bose flex , soundcore flare 2, or with jbl flip 5 or 6… it sounds muffled, the sony application does t help much, and it is big in size compared to a jbl flip 6…. Not good sony

    Not a good speaker

    This speaker lookks good but it is too big for a small speaker, the jbl flip 6 is way smaller than this and sounds way better than this speaker, there is no clarity on this one even if you use the sony spp for eq.

    Not worth $200

    Absolutely awful speaker for $200, my old bose soundtouch 10 outperforms this by a mile. It is extremely quiet and muffled at any volume no matter the setting. It sounds like a speaker with a towel wrapped around it. Never again will I purchase a sony speaker

    Sound Quality isn't there

    Sound quality is very sub par compared to older bluetooth speakers I have (JBL Flip5) Also is double the size of my other speakers. Big miss on this one.

    Quit working literally one year out from purchase! Odd occurrances with the lights on it including not apparently being even on but is connected to my phone,, but isn't emitting audio. It's going in the trash.

    This speaker looks good but the sound is not good at all , very disappointing sound, it is kinda a big small speaker compared to jbl flip 6 but the sound cant be compared … just listen to display one at the store and you will see
