It's wonderful to hear your investment is worth it and you are enjoying the superb features, great performance, and excellent sound quality this speaker delivers. Note: While the speaker is running on power from the rechargeable built-in battery, the sound may become low in the event that the rechargeable built-in battery is running out of power and the CHARGE indicator flashes slowly. This, however, does not indicate a malfunction.

The XG300 speaker is perfect for bringing a big sound to a portable party. Whether you’re at home or at the beach, park or poolside, this speaker will give you a great sound even at high volume, and will have enough battery life to keep going as long as you do. The speaker has the ability to skips songs. Press the (play)/(call) button twice quickly during playback to skip to the beginning of the next track. Thank you for taking the time to review your SRS-XE300 speaker. We're sorry to hear it hasn't performed to your standards when it comes to the bass sound. We want to make sure you are getting the most out of your speaker.

When you download the Sony Music Center App, there is a built-in EQ that has 20 points of control for Bass, Midrange, and Treble to tailor-fit the sound quality to your needs and ensure optimal performance with the speaker. You may also find different devices will perform better than others, as will different apps due to different types of audio compression and transmission.

If the sound is too low or the bass sound can't be heard, check if the Ambient Noise Sensing function is activated. Please note that when the Ambient Noise Sensing function is activated, the speaker detects environmental noises during the music playback. This function will help reduce power consumption and preserve the battery by cutting out bass sounds that will become hard to hear because of the ambient noise.
