That means getting your friends together, turning up the music to full volume and dancing all night to a clear, rich sound. With our X-Series range of speakers, you can make the most of every single moment, power parties you’ll remember forever and always live your life out loud.

The sound may become low in the following cases. This is not a malfunction.
When the built-in battery is running low and the CHARGE indicator flashes slowly, while the speaker is being powered by the built-in battery only.

When the rechargeable built-in battery is running low as a result of long-time use of the speaker at a loud volume even though the speaker was connected to an AC outlet by a USB AC adaptor (commercially available) or to a computer that comes equipped with a USB charging port.

When the ambient temperature of the speaker is high.

If the sound becomes low while in use, follow the procedure below.
1. Turn off the speaker.
.2. Charge the built-in battery sufficiently.

For optimum performance, it is recommended to install the latest software version of the speaker (via the Sony Music Center app). It is also recommended to charge the built-in battery sufficiently. The sound may become low in the following cases. This is not a malfunction.

-While the speaker is running on power from the rechargeable built-in battery, the sound may become low in the event that the rechargeable built-in battery is running out of power and the CHARGE indicator flashes slowly. This, however, does not indicate a malfunction.
-When the ambient temperature of the speaker is high.

Additionally, you have the option to adjust the sound effects and equalizer function of the speaker to tailor-fit the sound quality to your needs. You can also use the Party Connect function and Stereo Pair function to enjoy a more powerful sound.

We regret to hear it hasn't performed to your standards when it comes to the volume or sound quality. We want to make sure you are getting the most out of your speaker. Both of the XE200s speakers are facing the same direction so you can get true Left/Right separation like the artist intended. And with the Line-Shape Diffuser, the sound spreads further to the front area of the speaker, allowing you to enjoy the same sound quality whether at the front or to the side of the speaker. This means everyone in your venue can dance to the same music, feeling the same sound quality. Know that we take all feedback seriously and will pass your suggestions along to the proper team for future enhancement.

By downloading the Sony Music Center app, you will find all sorts of tools to fine-tune the speaker using the built-in EQ and maximize the volume to ensure optimal listening experience. To get the most out of the volume, turn up the volume of the speaker and the connected device. You may also find different devices will perform better than others, as will different apps due to different types of audio compression and transmission.

If you hear muffled sound or very low-level sound from the speaker, adjust the volume level of the BLUETOOTH device to an appropriate one, and then adjust the volume level of the speaker with the +/- (volume) buttons on the speaker.
