The overall volume may vary depending on the source content. For optimum performance, make sure to charge the built-in battery sufficiently. The sound may become low in the following cases. This is not a malfunction:

-When the built-in battery is running low and the CHARGE indicator flashes slowly, while the speaker is being powered by the built-in battery only.

-When the rechargeable built-in battery is running low as a result of long-time use of the speaker at a loud volume even though the speaker was connected to an AC outlet by a USB AC adaptor (commercially available) or to a computer that comes equipped with a USB charging port.

-When the ambient temperature of the speaker is high.

Additionally, you can use the Party Connect function and Stereo Pair function to enjoy a more powerful sound. You may refer to these links for more information:
