I researched a lot when I was looking to buy a portable, waterproof/dustproof speaker with the ability to connect other speakers - or as Sony calls it, Party Connect. I bought two of these at the end of June for our July 4th party - fully charged both speakers up and set one up on one side of my yard and put the other speaker on the other end (my property is barely 0.4 acres) - they would not stay connected unless they were close to each other, and not only that, my husband had to leave his phone next to the speaker all day so that the music would play which was pretty inconvenient and even still, occasionally the sound would come out fuzzy and tinny at times, and one of us would have to walk over and reconnect both speakers. When the speakers are working as expected, the sound is great... but I'm not happy that I paid almost $600 for two speakers and am already having issues - I expected more out of Sony.

Sound quality is warm, sounds decent at low levels. Mega bass is basically non existant. At highest volume the speaker gradually lowers by itself for battery saving purposes and there's no way to turn this setting/feature off. Honestly for the price, it's just ok
