Make sure to charge the built-in battery sufficiently. The sound may become low in the following cases. This is not a malfunction.

-While the speaker is running on power from the rechargeable built-in battery, the sound may become low in the event that the rechargeable built-in battery is running out of power and the CHARGE indicator flashes slowly. This, however, does not indicate a malfunction.
-When the ambient temperature of the speaker is high.

Restarting the speaker does not delete its pairing information. The pairing information, however, is stored on the speaker when the speaker is turned off. The XG300 will give you 25 hours of play when the battery is fully charged, meaning a single charge should be long enough to power through any party.

Built-in battery life (while the speaker is not in Battery Care mode and a BLUETOOTH connection is established)
Approx. 25 hours: Volume level: 24, Sound: MEGA BASS on, Lighting: off
Approx. 15 hours (default): Volume level: 24, MEGA BASS on, Lighting: on
Approx. 5 hours: Volume level: 50 (MAX.), MEGA BASS on, Lighting: off
