Please note: The volume will become low when the maximum sound volume for playing music depends on whether the speaker is running on power from the connected AC outlet or from the rechargeable built-in battery. This, however, does not indicate a malfunction. To play music louder, connect the speaker to an AC outlet.
Also, to ensure optimal listening experience, please make sure you have downloaded the Sony Music Center app. There you will find all sorts of tools like an equalizer to fine-tune your speaker and maximize the volume to your liking. If the sound is low, please check the following:
Make sure that the speaker built-in battery is charged sufficiently.
The maximum sound volume for playing music depends on whether the speaker is running on power from the connected AC outlet or from the rechargeable built-in battery. This, however, does not indicate a malfunction.
To play music louder, connect the speaker to an AC outlet.
Turn up the volume of the speaker and the connected device.
Check that the connected device is playing.
