Not the sound i was expecting

Many reviewers had complained about the lack of power coming from, what seemed like, a respected name in sound system/speaker. Unfortunately, this came extremely short of my expectations and i had to return it as it did not perform as I wished.

While the speaker is running on power from the rechargeable built-in battery, the sound may become low in the event that the rechargeable built-in battery is running out of power and the CHARGE indicator flashes slowly. This, however, does not indicate a malfunction.
If the sound becomes low while in use, follow the procedure below.
1. Turn off the speaker.
2. Charge the built-in battery sufficiently.

When I received it, I set it up and linked my music to it and started to jam and clean my house. Needless to say I was dancing in my kitchen, my living room, on the stairs and in bedrooms. The clarity of the sound is absolutely incredible, bass is also clear and just pumping the music. It can go really really loud, I mean I turned it all the way up walked out of my house and I heard it on the street with my windows being closed. That’s a party speaker in any settings, really half tempted to take it outside and blast it all day long! Honestly the lights that flash with music are super fun, they are mood changers, once this speaker turns on In the morning my mood is 100% better! You can’t go wrong with this, it’s absolutely amazing. In the video volume only half way up and it’s already preforming outstanding. Honestly I didn’t think I’m going to love it as much as I do, it’s just a speaker right? It’s not just a speaker, it’s mood changer, cleaning friend & party star. And on side note my downstairs is deep cleaned because there is nothing like jamming and cleaning.

Very impressed with the built - heavy and super sturdy. It has a nice handle that can be used to lift the speaker. Setup is super easy - Sony’s Bluetooth paring is one of the simplest ones to setup. Sound quality is awesome. This speaker has a great bass effect and the sounds are super crystal clear. It is also water proof which means it can be used next to pools, etc. Battery life: This is the most amazing part. The speaker can run on power or battery. I used it for an outdoor party for about 16 hours and still had a lot of battery charge left. The illumination on the speaker is just cute. Nice colors and makes the party so lively. 10 minutes of charging gives about 3 hours on battery. Microphone input: mic can be plugged into the speaker which makes it great for a karaoke session. The speaker can be kept upright or on its side. Music center app is cool and easy to use. Overall, a wonderful product from Sony. I can’t really think of any negatives for this speaker. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

The BestBuy delivery driver misplaced the item entirely, leaving it in an entirely different location. Despite having the confirmation pictures from the driver indicating the item was delivered, I reached out to BestBuy Customer Service with clear evidence – correct address and contradictory pictures. Moreover, I re-purchased the same item within an hour. Unfortunately, BestBuy still deemed me responsible for their mistake. This experience rates a disappointing 0 out of 10. It feels like there's a lot of questionable practices occurring. #DisappointedWithService

I prefer it with the Bass on because it doesn't have any distortion with it. The sound is crystal clear, and the omnidirectional sound means you'll hear it no matter where you are in relation to it. It pairs with your phone or mobile device in seconds. It literally could not be easier to set-up. I personally love the lighting effect with it, and pairing it with my smaller Sony speakers through the party-chain function really provides great, wide-reaching surround sound and a cool atmosphere in low-lighting. You can use it with the Fiestable app to create or join playlists and create DJ effects to your music if you like to experiment with things like that. Be aware, this speaker is portable but BIG. The carrying handles make it manageable, but it is heavy. It has connections to use a microphone for singing/Karaoke and to use as a guitar amplifier. You will not be disappointed if you are looking for big sound in a portable package.
