Deep bass, perfect for EDM. The fact you can daisy chain this speaker is awesome as well. If you pair this with another speaker like it you can easily fill a large sized room at party level sound!

It sounds beautiful. Loud enough for music and/or Tv. Download the app and adjust audio to your liking. Can't go wrong with Sony, it delivers quality.

Has about a 20 hour battery life, if placed close to a wall/corner it will bump. Took it camping and placed on top of my toolbox, it kept us going all day! 100% recommend - buy it used and test it out!

I've been using the Sony XP700 Portable Bluetooth Party Speaker, and it's an absolute beast! The sound is powerful, crystal clear, and the bass is insane, especially with the Mega Bass feature. I use it for gatherings, BBQs, and even by the pool, thanks to its water resistance (IPX4). :) PROS: Massive, immersive sound with deep bass. LED lights that create a party atmosphere. Up to 25 hours of battery life wow. Stable Bluetooth connection, USB port, and AUX input. Can be used vertically or horizontally. Perfect for indoor and outdoor use. Nice overall sound, packs a nice clean bass. I've used this speaker at family gatherings and BBQ's. Love the party mode allowing multiple devices to synch into Bluetooth mode. Battery life is excellent. Definitely getting my monies worth on this speaker. Avid Sony user!

I have considered upgrading to the 900 but there is considerable size difference. While the XP700 is large it is still manageable and easy to move around. I recently used both speakers on a Mardi Gras float and the sound was loud, the bass was driving, and I ran both speakers (paired in the Sony Music app) at about 95% volume for almost two hours and still had about 80% battery remaining. Zero distortion and no clipping. I also used both speakers at a chili cook-off back in November and the weather turned and a light rain ended all of the music from all booths as well as the public address system since all were exposed to the elements and most required electricity. Our booth kept on rocking so we turned it up so everyone could enjoy some music. If I were sure my wife wouldn't kill me I'd consider adding two more speakers but... These do not have the low end power of a large electric powered JBL Party Box and the highs are not as crisp as I would prefer but it's exactly what I was looking for...portable and battery powered. I highly recommend going to a store to check out all of the available options.

I recommend it for everything if your going to the beach it’s perfect ! If fully charged the battery life is amazing it last for almost 2 days and you can actually use it for charging your phone while your playing music on it
