To help improve your battery life while still enjoying that deep bass, we recommend switching the MEGA BASS feature off in the Sony | Music Center app, or lowering the volume slightly. This small adjustment can significantly extend your playback time.

We've taken note of your feedback with regard to the volume level of the unit. For optimum performance, ensure that the software of the speaker is updated as it includes key features, applications, bug fixes, and feature improvements.

The maximum sound volume for playing music depends on whether the speaker is running on power from the connected AC outlet or from the rechargeable built-in battery. This, however, does not indicate a malfunction. If the sound is low, please try some steps below:
To play music louder, connect the speaker to an AC outlet.
Turn up the volume of the speaker and the connected device.
Check that the connected device is playing.
