Sounds great but need some work

Going to return this speaker and try xp700

While we're glad you like the great sound quality of this speaker, we regret to hear that the volume output doesn't get louder when you're turning up the volume above 50%, and it had to be returned. Please note: The maximum power output will be lower when the built-in battery is running low. And the maximum sound volume for playing music depends on whether the speaker is running on power from the connected AC outlet or from the rechargeable built-in battery. This, however, does not indicate a malfunction.
To play music louder, connect the speaker to an AC outlet. If the sound becomes low while in use, follow the procedure below.
Turn off the speaker.
Charge the built-in battery sufficiently.

Exceeded My Expectations

Realized I needed to go bigger. This Sony Bluetooth speaker has features like mic and guitar inputs, but most importantly, delivers big, clear sound (with or without bass boost). An excellent party speaker.

You can pair it with another speaker for even louder sound. However, by itself it’s already loud enough. Battery on it last a long time. If it gets low you can charge and use at the same time.

Bass is really really good too, even tried running my TV sound through it and it sounds amazing!

But as time passed I noticed the sound wasn’t as cut clear as it used to be. So I upgraded and purchased this speaker, which I love. I used it for my daughters sweet 16 ( outside) and it was loud, clear, and bass was good. I highly recommend if your looking for a lot of boom

By downloading the Sony Music Center app, you will find all sorts of tools to fine-tune the speaker using the built-in EQ and maximize the volume to ensure optimal listening experience. Incredible sound and bass
