Nice potable karaoke to carry around

Luckily no damage to the speaker. It sounds amazing when I play music from my phone. I tried connecting the microphone to it for karaoke and sound great too. With the app downloaded I can even adjust the echo and some other sounds from microphone.

The maximum sound volume for playing music depends on whether the speaker is running on power from the connected AC outlet or from the rechargeable built-in battery. This, however, does not indicate a malfunction. To play music louder, connect the speaker to an AC outlet. I'd also recommend downloading the Sony Music Center app, you will find all sorts of tools to fine-tune the speaker using the built-in EQ and maximize the volume to ensure optimal listening experience.
