Please note: The volume will become low when the maximum sound volume for playing music depends on whether the speaker is running on power from the connected AC outlet or from the rechargeable built-in battery. This, however, does not indicate a malfunction. To play music louder, connect the speaker to an AC outlet.
To get the most out of your speaker, please make sure you to download the Sony Music Center app. There you will find all sorts of tools to fine-tune your SRSXP500 and maximize the volume to your liking. Great sound, bit heavy

Distorted Sound

Only issue I have had is occasionally the sound coming from my Echo Show is extremely distorted. I turn off the Sony and back on and it's ok. I have Geek Squad repair and was on hold 15 minutes today before I hung up, Since it is in the 14 day exchange period, I will be going to the store to exchange! When it works, the bass is awesome! I won't know how good it really is until I have it outside this summer.

To ensure optimal listening experience, please make sure you have downloaded the Sony Music Center app. There you will find all sorts of tools like an equalizer to fine-tune your speaker and personalize the sound to your liking.

Great Sound

We use these with the Samsung projector and they give amazing surround sound.
