Please note: The volume will become low when the maximum sound volume for playing music depends on whether the speaker is running on power from the connected AC outlet or from the rechargeable built-in battery. This, however, does not indicate a malfunction.
To ensure optimal listening experience, please make sure you have downloaded the Sony Music Center app. There you will find all sorts of tools like an equalizer to fine-tune your speaker and maximize the volume to your liking. To achieve the powerful audio performance this model is capable of, please ensure that the MEGA BASS button on the top panel is activated, as this is specifically designed to boost the low-end frequencies. For even more control over the audio profile, you can use the Sony Music Center app on your smartphone to access a custom equalizer. This allows you to manually adjust the bass levels and other sound settings to suit your personal listening preference.
