The maximum sound volume for playing music depends on whether the speaker is running on power from the connected AC outlet or from the rechargeable built-in battery. This, however, does not indicate a malfunction. To play music louder, connect the speaker to an AC outlet. Turn up the volume of the speaker and the connected device. Check that the connected device is playing.

The built-in battery life is measured using our specified music source.

The SRSXP500 can last up to 20 hours on a full charge (Provided that the volume level of the speaker is set to 16, the sound effect is set to MEGA BASS, and the lighting function is set to off.).
