It not only sounds great, but resolves a bluetooth issue I had with the previous speakers. The bluetooth would cut off while I had my Apple Watch 7 paired to my Iphone. This is no longer an issue and have had my watch paired with this speaker to my iphone ever since. Well done!

It is not earth shattering loud but it is loud enough and very clear sound compared to other Bluetooth speakers that maybe went a tad louder but the sound would be distorted the louder it goes. The only other thing is I think it could be just a little cheaper in price but again everything is more expensive these days.

To play music louder, connect the speaker to an AC outlet. And to ensure optimal listening experience, please make sure you have downloaded the Sony Music Center app. There you will find all sorts of tools like an equalizer to fine-tune your speaker and maximize the volume to your liking. I bought this which was available, and am pleased. A little cumbersome to move around, and of course not exactly 'cheap'; however, the sound met my expectations and connecting to my phone took 2 seconds. The kids love the mic/karaoke option it offers.
