And alos, the maximum sound volume for playing music depends on whether the speaker is running on power from the connected AC outlet or from the rechargeable built-in battery. This, however, does not indicate a malfunction.
To play music louder, connect the speaker to an AC outlet. Hope this helps!

Good for smaller indoor usage

There was no easy way to find out the wattage output when compared to the JBL or Samsung speakers in the store. It will work great for indoor parties but is clearly not loud enough for outdoor crowds of more than 50 people. I returned the item and will buy the much larger model. It was most-likely a lack of knowledge of the associate because he could not find much information on this device.

Back porch jammin’

But we have used a bit in the house, it has lots of clear volume. The lights are an added plus it seems to be a great addition to the back porch.
