The XP700 is made up of several speakers, including a front and rear High-efficiency Tweeter and an X-Balanced Speaker Unit, to give you an Omnidirectional Party Sound with a punchy and deep bass and plenty of clarity. It also features MEGA BASS which allows you to really dial up the bass, get a deep and punchy bass sound. The maximum sound volume for playing music depends on whether the speaker is running on power from the connected AC outlet or from the rechargeable built-in battery. This, however, does not indicate a malfunction. To play music louder, connect the speaker to an AC outlet. Make sure to turn up the volume of the speaker and the connected device.
